Biblical Philosophy of Music
This course is designed to assist the student in establishing a biblical perspective of music, both in the personal realm and in church ministries.
Course Instructor: Daryl York
Pastor Daryl York is a 1987 graduate of Indiana Baptist College. He currently serves as the senior pastor of Brentwood Baptist Church in Des Plaines, Illinois, and has over 20 years of experience in church and Christian school ministries.
A study of effective, Bible-based strategies for building a national ministry on the field. The course will cover strategies for evangelizing of a field, planting churches, equipping and utilizing nationals, raising funds, and overseeing a ministry.
Course Instructor: Pat Gordon
Bro. Pat Gordon, former missionary to Zambia, is the Vice President for Development at Fundamental Baptist World-Wide Mission in Memphis, TN. He and his wife, Greta, travel in missions, evangelism, and work to recruit, train, and assist missionaries around the world.
Philosophy & Issues in Evangelism
Considering the Biblical philosophy of evangelism, the gift of an evangelist, and how the Biblical philosophy addresses current issues in evangelism.
Course Instructors: Evangelists Dwight Smith & Jake
Dwight Smith, a graduate of Ambassador Baptist College, received the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior as a four-year-old boy. since 1997, the Lord has allowed Dwight to travel and preach in forty-nine states and nineteen foreign countries. He and his family are members of the Temple Baptist Church in Asheville, NC. It is their sincere desire to serve Jesus Christ through local churches, preaching the gospel both in the United States and on the foreign field.
As a teenager, Jake surrendered his life to the Lord, but it was not until his mid-twenties that he truly surrendered. After realizing God’s call into full-time evangelism, he attended Ambassador Baptist College, where he received his bachelor’s degree. He is a well-seasoned preacher who can both stir the hearts of children, and stimulate the thoughts of adults. Along with his wife, Jessica, and their four children, they demonstrate a servant’s heart as they go from church to church.
